Rolling Snowballs is a video and digital media production company specialising in factual, story driven media for a diverse range of high profile private and public sector clients.
We work closely with each client from conception, scripting and design through to the finished product.
Since it's incorporation in 2010, Rolling Snowballs has helped numerous companies raise their profile and communicate important corporate and commercial messages in an entertaining and engaging way.
Video is the most effective way to connect with a client and customer base. As well as the production of moving image work we also work with organisations in creating online strategies designed to maximise the impact and audience visibility of each production.
Rolling Snowballs is made up of number of professional creative partners, each an expert in their field. Working in this manner allows us to operate as a dynamic, flexible and highly skilled production team creating unique products and a bespoke personal service for each client.
Pre-Production and Design

We operate with an extensive pre-production process for each project. Depending on the nature of the work this may include storyboarding and character concept design, shotlists, budgeting, production schedules, gantt charts and risk assessments.
We work closely with each client to help visualise and formulate your idea.

We choose the best and most appropriate equipment for each job. As a Premier Account holder with ITV Provision we have access to the highest quality industry equipment from cameras to cranes, dollys, jibs and Steadi-Cam.
We shoot primarily with Sony XD-CAM cameras, as well as Canon DSLR and BlackMagic Cine. For very high end work we can spec full digital cinema rigs from Arri Alexa to RED shooting any resolution from 720/1080p to 2, 4 and 6k and super slow motion Phantom Flex cameras.

The process of chroma keying allows us to film any scene and replace the background allowing far more control over the content. New technology has made this once costly process available to even the most modest of budgets.
We can provide a full studio setup or a portable studio which can be setup in virtually any location.

Timelapse is an evocative technique whereby objects or events that would ordinarily take hours, days or months can be viewed to completion in seconds.
Whether documenting the blossoming of a flower, a construction project, the building of an art installation or changing weather patterns, timelapse photography produces images which the viewer will find hard to forget.

Post-production is where everything comes together. We provide a comprehensive service including online editing, colour grading and audio mixing.
We work across a range of applications including Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Davici Resolve and Audition.
